I finished provisioning today (at least I think so)
I filled the fridge and freezer.
The Freezer now has 10 frozen strip steaks, 10 cooked and frozen chicken thighs, and several bags of "Steamer" frozen vegetables
The Fridge has assorted cheeses, butter, eggs (good till Nov 26th), assorted sodas and a 6 pack of beer (for guests).
Stored away in cabinets behind the settees are the freeze dried foods, the "radiated HDR meals", the peanut butter and jelly, many cans of soup, some boxes of crackers and several boxes of wine. Lots of nuts (pistachios in shells and bags of mixed nuts) as well as several bags of Trader Joe's Trail mix are stored on cabinets under the settees.
I'll pick up bread and salad fixings on Sunday evening, on the way home from Madison.
I couldn't find the Jack Lines (these are lines that run along both sides of the boat from the bow to the stern that you can strap on with a tether attached to your life vest when going forward in rough weather or at night) so quick ordered and got (thank you Eric) new ones, that I tested today. I also put jack lines down both sides of the cockpit, again for use in rough weather or at night.
When I single hand, as I will be doing from Baltimore to Charleston, I am in the habit of always wearing my lifevest whenever I'm on deck. I've also rigged the boarding ladder at the back of the boat so that it is easy to deploy from the water in case I have to get back in (although I have no plans to go for a swim).
I"m adding a link to the map that shows the progress. I'm not quite there yet, but at least I now display the link on the right side of this blog. For the moment you have to copy it and paste it into a browser...I'll hopefully figure out how to make it a real link soon.
In the meantime, you can copy and paste this

Tomorrow (Thursday) I'm off to the Annapolis Boat Show...I figure there is something I must need, and I"ll know it when I see it!
